All About Me
Its easy to say I started my Clihpd in 2014 while sitting in my room but that wasnt the beginning of my story.

I’ve had a passion for creating beautiful jewelry and accessories since I can remember. I spent
weekends with my dad as a kid and upon my arrival I always convinced him to buy me a new
beading set. Lisa Frank had my heart, like most young girls in the 90s. I made every piece of
jewelry you could think of and hustled to sell my merchandise at the pool, at school and even at
my older brother’s basketball games.
As I grew into my teenage years my interests changed and around the time I started high school
I completely stopped making jewelry. It wasn’t until my early 20s that my creative itch came
back; I couldn’t find pieces that were original, sexy or edgy enough for my taste. I knew I had to
take matters into my own hands and started creating pieces for close friends and family. Well,
word traveled fast and soon I had referral orders; this is when I knew I was onto something.
I spoke with my business savvy mom who gave me the information I needed to get Clihpd off
the ground and on December 27, 2014 I registered ‘Clihpd Custom Designs and Accessories’
with Alameda County. Shortly after I received my wholesale license and a year to the day later I
launched Clihpd.com. Now with more customer orders than I can count and a trail of new
customers I’m excited to see what the future holds. Hang on tight because this will be nothing
short of an amazing adventure.
